Live Off-Campus

Review the campus housing policy to see if you meet the requirements to live on or off campus. If you qualify for living off campus, follow the instructions below to complete and submit the off-campus housing application. Be sure to keep an eye on your Â鶹ֱ²¥ email, as you will receive your acceptance or denial notification via email.

We require either an approved on-campus or an approved off-campus housing application for all full-time, undergraduate students every academic year until you turn 21 years old.  Once you have turned 21 years old, you are no longer required to submit an off-campus housing application if you wish to live off campus the next academic year.

If you currently live on campus and wish to move off campus during an academic year, you must tell us in writing: housing@marian.edu. There is a $1,000 housing contract cancellation fee that will be charged to your student account if you move off campus after week one of fall semester.

Complete Your Application

  1. Click this link for the Off-Campus . You will be directed to StarRez, which best operates in Google Chrome or Safari web browsers.
  2. Log-in using your Â鶹ֱ²¥ email and password. If you do not know your Â鶹ֱ²¥ email or password, you can reach out to the IT HelpDesk for assistance. You will also need to know your Student ID number.
  3. Complete and submit your off-campus housing application.
  4. If you are under 21, download and complete the Parent Verification Form. You can attach it inside the application or email it to us: housing@marian.edu
  5. Off-campus housing applications are reviewed on a rolling basis beginning in May. We will contact you via Â鶹ֱ²¥ email about the status of your request. Be sure to keep an eye on your Â鶹ֱ²¥ email! We will let you know if your application is approved, denied, or pending via email.
  6. New Student Housing Instructions can be downloaded for a detailed step-by-step guide.  Note that these instructions are now the same for returning students, as we have fully switched over to StarRez.
