Academic Resources for Undergraduate Students

Peer Tutoring and Group Learning are offered through the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Academic Commons. All services are included in tuition for all undergraduate students, including our Online and ABSN programs.

The Academic Commons also hosts events to help build community among learners, including success seminars and open work sessions. Our mission is to provide you with space and place to access individualized resources to support your academic success.

We can help you:

  • Maintain a strong grade.

  • Access personalized support.

Group Learning

Group Learning sessions are regularly scheduled, course-specific, led by a trained peer who supports students wanting to deepen their understanding of course content, practice strategies for exam preparation, and complete projects. Take the lead in your learning and attend a session!

Types of Group Learning & Schedules:

Supplemental Instruction teaches strategies to help you go from memorizing content to understanding it and its connection to major course concepts. Students meet weekly at a regularly-scheduled time with a Supplemental Instruction Leader who is attending your course lectures and consulting weekly with your instructor about learning goals that will best serve you.
