Broad Ripple15 minutes from Broad Ripple Village
For live music and nightlife, restaurants serving locally produced food and craft beers, shopping for a unique gift, grabbing a coffee with friends, or just getting outside for a walk or run on the Monon Trail, Broad Ripple Village is a hip, super-cool Indianapolis destination that attracts college students and young professionals from across the city.

15 minutes from Eagle Creek park
Eagle Creek ParkOne of the largest municipal parks in the nation, Eagle Creek Park is a nature preserve that contains 4,000 acres of forest, meadows, and a 1,400-acre reservoir where you can rent kayaks, paddle-boards, and canoes. Bike on winding, paved pathways or hike about ten miles of wooded trails. Swim at the public beach. Play golf, bird-watch, or pack a picnic and enjoy nature with friends.

10 minutes from Downtown Indianapolis
Downtown IndianapolisAttend a festival at White River State Park, go to the Indianapolis Zoo, catch a Pacers or Colts game, watch a play at the Indiana Repertory Theatre, shop at Circle Centre Mall, treat yourself to a fine meal and dining experience, enjoy live music and dancing at the club or bar of your choice, or stroll the three-mile Canal Walk, a date-night destination and urban respite for walkers, runners, and serenity-seekers.

8 minutes from the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Indianapolis Motor SpeedwayDuring the month of May and other times of the year, Â鶹ֱ²¥ students can hear the roar and rumble of lightning-fast race cars at the world-famous speedway. Get your Indy 500 on at a Carb Day concert and street parties. Walk or run on the historic Brickyard track during the annual 500 Festival Mini-Marathon. Visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum and play golf at the Brickyard Crossing.

5 minutes from Newfields and the Indianapolis Museum of Art
NewfieldsNewfields, home of the internationally recognized Indianapolis Museum of Art, features expansive galleries, a gift shop, and restaurant surrounded by gorgeous gardens, water features, and a hundred acres of woodland filled with art, beauty, and surprises. With an outstanding permanent collection and unique rotating exhibits, the museum offers film festivals, photography, art, and horticulture classes, outdoor movies, and a Beer Garden. Â鶹ֱ²¥ students are eligible for a FREE annual membership.

3 minutes from the 100 Acres Park
100 Acres ParkPart of Newfields, the Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park, also known as the 100 Acres Park, is open daily and free to visit, with free parking off 38th Street. Explore woodlands, wetlands, meadows, and the shoreline of a 35-acre lake. One of the largest museum art parks in the country, it features permanent and temporary site-responsive artwork. Enjoy thousands of spring wildflowers, walking trails, and bird viewing stations.

1 minute from the Nina Mason Pulliam EcoLab
EcolabTake the stairs behind Allison Mansion and visit Â鶹ֱ²¥'s 55-acre nature preserve featuring woods, a pond and wetlands, meadow, and walking trails. Mink, fox, muskrat, deer, beaver, turtles, and other mammals—in addition to 165 species of birds like hawks and herons—have been spotted in this habitat, which includes two miles of well-marked walking trails and a round, open-sided outdoor classroom.
