Binh Q. Tran, Ph.D., is the chief academic officer of Â鶹ֱ²¥. He works with the faculty, staff, and leaders across the university to ensure Â鶹ֱ²¥ continues to excel as a great Catholic university dedicated to providing students with excellent learning, teaching, and research opportunities in the Franciscan and liberal arts tradition.
As such, the provost is responsible for administering the academic programs, providing oversight for research and scholarly activities, coordinating the academic administrative and support functions of the university, and supporting students’ success and engagement.
The assistant provosts, together with the provost’s administrative and operational staff, support the provost in carrying out these responsibilities. See also:
