Access Pre-Made Career Modules from The Exchange

The Exchange is excited to debut shared modules ready to import into your Canvas course sections on a variety of career-related topics. See below for instructions to find our modules and upload them into your Canvas course for easy and socially distanced career development in your courses. Feel free to use these resources and adapt based on your needs.

Search different  to see what careers employers relate to your area of study. This website provides information on classes to take in order to pursue a particular career.

Explore majors offered at Â鶹ֱ²¥

An excellent way to evaluate which programs may be a good fit for you is to take a look at their program pages and to browse the course catalog to see what kinds of classes are offered in the department. If you are interested in learning more based on the course descriptions, that's a great sign! Talk to your academic advisor (or admissions counselor, for prospective students) about exploring different options for your major area of study.

Indiana Career Explorer will help you explore a world of career possibilities, make decisions about your future, and prepare for the next step in your education and career planning journey.

Students seeking to identify and develop their unique talents in their careers may benefit from taking the CliftonStrengths assessment, scheduling a Strengths coaching appointment, or attending a workshop on CliftonStrengths from The Exchange. Browse below for instructions and details.

Redeeming a CliftonStrengths code:

  1. Visit
  2. Click New Account
  3. Registration
    • Enter your full Â鶹ֱ²¥ email address (e.g. mknight123@marian.edu)..
    • Create an account by entering your name and setting a password.
  4. You will receive an Account Register email from Gallup Marketing with a link to confirm your email address. (Check spam folder if needed. The activation link stays active for 24 hours.)
  5. Once you have activated your account, you will log in and click the Let’s Go link on the main page to take the assessment.
  6. Complete the assessment and submit your results.
  7. Review, download, and save your Signature Themes, Strengths Insight, and Strengths Insight and Action-Planning Guide. (Found on the right side of your screen under Personalized Strengths Exports.)

If you have a classroom presentation on CliftonStrengths coming up:

  • Be sure to complete your assessment at least 3 business days ahead of The Exchange’s visit to your class. This will ensure your results will be included in the class data.
  • Bring your electronic or printed reports (listed in Step 7) with you that day. (We’ll be able to pull your results, so no need to send them our way.)

If you are completing this assessment on your own and not part of a class requirement:

  • You can attend our Open Office Hours (dates/times found in ) to learn more about CliftonStrengths and your individual results, and even list your Top 5 on your CORE profile!
