Larra Overton appears across Colts media platforms as producer, host, and reporter for Colts Productions. She joined the team in July 2019 after five years at Fox59 WXIN and CBS 4 WTTV in Indianapolis, most recently as sports reporter and anchor.
In addition to her various roles with the Colts, Larra also works as a track and field analyst and sideline reporter for USATF, ESPN, and BTN.
Larra grew up in New Albany, Indiana and attended Indiana University where she was a captain on the track and field and cross country teams, competing in multiple NCAA Championships. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and master’s in Sport Communication from IU, she began her broadcasting career as an associate producer at Fox41 WDRB in her hometown market of Louisville, KY.
Larra made her reporting debut for Big Ten Network, covering Indiana and Purdue football. Her career took her to WTWO in Terre Haute, IN as the weekend sports anchor and sports reporter, before moving to Indianapolis to work in various roles for the Indiana Pacers, Fox Sports, and the National Sports Journalism Center at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
A proud Indy resident since 2010, Larra can often be found running and competing in local road races, walking with her English Mastiff, Tugboat, or biking with her husband, Dan. Follow her on Twitter and Instagram, @larraoverton.
Chris Ballard is entering his 21st NFL season and his fifth with the Colts as general manager where he oversees all football operations.
The Colts have reached the NFL postseason in two of the last three seasons, including an AFC Wild Card appearance in 2020 following an 11-5 regular season record. Last year, Indianapolis was one of just four teams to finish in the top 10 in overall defense (eighth) and offense (10th). The Colts also tied for the most Associated Press All-Pro selections (six) and First-Team All-Pro choices. In 2020, Indianapolis’ offense ranked ninth in points per game while the offensive line tied for the second-fewest sacks allowed. Defensively, the Colts registered their third consecutive top-10 run defense (2018-20), marking the first time the team has accomplished that feat since 1975-77.
Ballard was named the 2018 NFL Executive of the Year by the Pro Football Writers of America after the team finished with a 10-6 record and reached the Divisional Playoff Round. The Colts 2018 draft class was pivotal for the franchise, as the Colts were selected as the winners of the Best NFL Draft Award by Inside the League. Indianapolis’ draft class was headlined by Quenton Nelson and Darius Leonard, who joined Dick Butkus and Gale Sayers as the second pair of rookie teammates to be selected First Team All-Pro since 1940. Ballard also earned the Pro Football Writers of America Jack Horrigan Award in 2020, which is given to a league or club official for his or her qualities to help pro football writers do their job.
Before arriving in Indianapolis, Ballard held a variety of roles in his time with the Kansas City Chiefs (2013-16) and Chicago Bears (2001-12). He also coached at Texas A&M - Kingsville for seven seasons (1994-2000).
Ballard and his wife Kristin reside in Westfield, Indiana with their five children. The family is active in the community and have worked with Books for Youth, Hands of Hope, Habitat for Humanity, Make-A-Wish and Gleaners Food Bank.
This year the Clayton Family Circle of Honor dinner will look a little different than 2019 as we work to ensure attendee safety but still bring that Â鶹ֱ²¥ Knights magic to the evening.

The Clayton Family Circle of Honor was created in part to honor, but also to inspire. Joseph Clayton (1949-2018) and his wife, Janet, agreed to lend their names to these awards because they believed in the character-building qualities associated with athletics in a university community. At Â鶹ֱ²¥, the faith tradition and values are activated in many ways, including athletics. On the fields and courts of competition, student-athletes learn respect, fair play, and teamwork. These values carry over into all areas of their lives: personal relationships, careers, parenthood, and community service.
