Licensure Preparation Programs

Building Level Administrator

If you are a currently licensed K-12 teacher who wants to develop the knowledge, skills, and experience for success in school leadership positions, Â鶹ֱ²¥’s Building Level Administrator (BLA) program may be right for you. This part-time program will prepare you for employment as a school principal, program director, or administrator in elementary and secondary school settings.

Transition to Teaching

If you have a bachelor’s degree and want to become a licensed K-12 teacher in the State of Indiana, Â鶹ֱ²¥’s Transition to Teaching (T2T) program is designed for adult career-changers.

  • This is an accelerated program that builds on the subject matter knowledge you already possess.
  • You do not earn an education degree in this program. Rather, you complete coursework and internship experiences that prepare you for initial teaching licensure. 

Special Education Prep Program

Special education teachers are in short supply in P-12 schools across the nation. If you have a bachelor's degree and would like to step into the high-demand role of special education teacher, our non-degree, non-credit Special Education Prep Program (SPED Prep) will prepare you for P-12 Exceptional Needs – Mild Interventions Teacher licensure. SPED Prep is an Indiana Department of Education-approved online curriculum designed for instructional aides and others.
