How to Schedule an Appointment

To talk with the professional staff, make an appointment, or ask a question, please call or stop by the CCS office in Clare Hall.  Counseling services are available to enrolled students at Â鶹ֱ²¥ free of charge. Services to online students/remote learners are governed and at times limited by practice standards and laws of each state.

Scheduling Your Initial Consultation?

To schedule an initial consultation, please call  (317-955-6150) or visit the CCS office in Clare Hall between 8 a.m. -4:30 p.m. Please have your schedule available to find an appropriate appointment time.  Initial consultations cannot be made by anyone other than yourself.

If you consider this to be an Emergency situation, alert the administrative staff of this and be prepared to briefly speak regarding the nature of your concerns. If your concern is a medical emergency or regarding an immediate safety threat, please call MU Campus police (317-955-6150), 911, or visit the Local Emergency Department.

What is an Initial Consultation?

The initial consultation is a 30-45 minute appointment to discuss your reasons for seeking services and to explore how to best meet your needs. You will be asked to complete some forms with demographic information and questions regarding your presenting concerns. The counselor that you meet with will explore with you the various treatment options available to you and will help you to make a decision among these options.
