Â鶹ֱ²¥ College of Osteopathic Medicine Student Shines in his two Publications

Congratulations to Â鶹ֱ²¥ College of Osteopathic Medicine Benjamin Abrahamstudent Benjamin Abraham OMS-IV '24 for authorizing two recent publications. "The influence of facility type on intracranial meningioma treatment and outcomes: predicting overall survival using the National Cancer Database," is published in the Journal of Neurosurgery, and "Mediastinal Intrathymic Parathyroid Adenoma: A Case Report and Review of the Literature," published in the journal Cureus.

"A lot of people trust physicians to heal them," said Abraham. "I believe taking our findings and spreading the knowledge we gain from them ought to be one we take upon ourselves to move the ball forward, even if ever slightly so, as a sincere thank you to each person that's entrusted the medical system with their life."

Abraham's   found that facility type is associated with disparate survival outcomes in treating intracranial meningiomas. The second case reported  is among the few, considering that ectopic parathyroid adenomas are rarely found within thymic tissue.

Keep up the excellent work, Benjamin!
