Dean of the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Fred S. Klipsch Educators College, LaTonya Turner, Ph.D., has been named to the Educator Advisory Board for the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching (NIET). Dr. Turner is one of only 11 Educator Advisory Board members, representing primary, secondary and higher education institutions nationwide.

Klipsch Educators College which is consistently recognized for educating next-generation teachers and educational leaders,” said Â鶹ֱ²¥ President Daniel J. Elsener. “As Dr. Turner’s colleague, I am proud to congratulate her on the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching (NIET) advisory board appointment.”

The NIET partners with school, districts and states across the country to develop sustainable systems for school improvement, teacher and leader development, rubric and observation, and comprehensive reform. During the past 20 years, the NIET has partnered with more than 75 universities and worked with more than 9,000 schools nationwide to support great teaching and improve student achievement.
