Â鶹ֱ²¥ College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) Student Named COM's Student Researcher of the Year

Zoe (Megan) Reyes '25, is Â鶹ֱ²¥'s College of Osteopathic Zoe (Megan) Reyes(COM) Student Researcher of the Year 2022-2023!  Reyes '25 will represent Â鶹ֱ²¥'s COM at the national level this year. She will advance to compete for the National Student Researcher of the Year award presented annually by the College of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents. Reyes's professors and colleagues agree her passion for research began in undergrad at the University of Pittsburgh and has continued to grow throughout her time at Â鶹ֱ²¥.

Reyes has also acquired a multitude of impactful research experiences that have led to publications, presentations, and a clinical research internship abroad. Last summer, she was awarded with a National Institute of Health (NIH) T32 grant to conduct basic science research at Rush University of Chicago, Illinois. Additionally, Reyes serves as Â鶹ֱ²¥'s COM Student Government Association research executive where she promotes research opportunities for her peers.
