As an Indianapolis native who graduated from Perry Meridian High School. He received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Communications Rhetoric and a minor in Business Management from Â鶹ֱ²¥ Indianapolis. Rodney received his MBA from Colorado Technical University in Business Administration – Project Management in 2022. Before joining Â鶹ֱ²¥ Office of Undergraduate Admission in 2022, Rodney pursued a career in the insurance industry at International Medical Group in Indianapolis. As an assistance coordinator and claims advisor for an internship opportunity and became full-time employed. Rodney’s experience in client eligibility, effective communication, and confidentiality interest him in college admissions.
Also, as a member of the football coaching staff at Cardinal Ritter High School his role is to coach the running backs and secondary at the varsity level. It’s driven him to want to work in the higher-education field to encourage the younger generation to further their education. Rodney believes his role as a high school football coach is to compete to win but to help student-athletes understand the importance of education after high school.
As an alumnus of Â鶹ֱ²¥ Rodney’s passionate about encouraging prospective students to exhaust all their resources and put forth the effort to be the best version of themselves daily. Rodney feels it’s important to do your research on the city of Indianapolis. The history of Â鶹ֱ²¥ and surrounding areas of the city have a lot of great value to the community. Therefore, you’re able to experience the University and Indianapolis in the timeframe of attending a great school. In Rodney’s free time, he loves spending time with his family playing board games, sporting events, and traveling.
